Are there any original Twitter apks that have been modded to remove the moments tab/have enhanced customisability?

I'm aware 3rd party twitter clients are available but they are limited heavily by Twitters API, are there no original base APK's that have been modded to take out the extra gumpf?

I've had a quick look through XDA to no avail.
