Looking at temporary housing before buying a yurt, would a military tent be made livable long-term?

I am looking for ways to make a military tent of around 500sq ft livable. I've decided on using a platform, wood stove, and makeshift shelving w/ crates for storage, but I am having trouble with figuring out kitchen and washroom setups, as well as possible others needs I may be oblivious to.
