Team Help

So, I'm a fairly new player on Server 13, only on KL 8 and barely understanding how that works but trying my best. I kinda just started making a team based on what looked cool and was really strong, but it turns out it takes a lot more than that apparently. I've been reading what I can understand on it, but everything I see is "Elf," "Hippogryph" and Priests. I neither have much access to those yet or the units. However, I (think I) have some pretty good Undead units so far right now, being T1 Dad, DS, Lich and DN, plus some unseniored ones. I know Elf is good but is there any Undead team I can use to get me to where I can start doing Elf teams? I'm completely lost right now.
