My Planets Still Look Ugly?

Hey Guys, I've been hearing how everyone is saying how the new update makes planets look way better with new grass and better skies. My planets still look the same as release, with many planets that only have mushrooms as fauna. Do I have to restart the game to get the new planets? Thanks
