Ret Paladin Logs

Hey,

I'm a Heroic once-a-week raider that is looking to get into a guild that raids once or twice a week, and I'm trying to improve my logs. I know the fights and the timings pretty well and I don't play reactively, but my parses are really low. I am usually hitting what I am simming. Is it just a gear issue?

Sometimes I have issues with holy power generation, and become starved, but I try to keep my Zeal/Strike on cooldown first before I use anything else to generate HP so the generation is smoother. I still end up getting desperate for burst on adds or something and end up clipping a few holy power, but it's usually only one or two a fight. I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I really want to break into Mythic kills but I know I can't with the way I'm playing right now. Checkmywow didn't give me any crazy issues the multiple times I've checked, I don't fail mechanics too hard. Sometimes if I goof a mechanic, it makes me fuck up the rest of the kill, but that's rare.

I've done a lot on my own, looking up rotations and trying out talent combinations and simming my best gear. I'm not sure what else I can do, so a log analysis from someone who better knows what information is important is the only option I can think of.
