Very small liquid does (10mg and under) margin of error?

I've been slowly tapering off of methadone (from 70mg around this time last year) and I have switched to the liquid dosing. Because I am at such a small dose it is necessary for me to go down 1 or 2 mg a time instead of, for example, 40 mg down from 50mg in a week.

My question is, how accurate is the clinic's equipment in liquid dosing to the nearest milligram? Am I actually getting 9 milligrams or 0.9 mL when I need exactly that, or is it possible it's off to a small degree? Because that would make a difference at this point.

Is there anything I can request from the director or nurses that would help eliminate most possibilities of under dosing?

Thanks
