When I export spreadsheets from booker, sometimes they don't have the tabs and horizontal/vertical bar shown and I have to enable them. How to fix?

More specifically..if I have a couple spreadsheets open and they've been open for a day or so, when I export spreadsheets from booker.com, they sometimes don't have the tabs and bars shown. And once one does it, they are all like that from booker. But when opening a new spreadsheet or a saved one, the tabs and bars are all shown.

Closing all spreadsheets and trying again fixes it but that's annoying as hell. Anyone know how to fix this? windows 10 office 2017 (or w/e latest one is)
