Making my boyfriend a skin care package!

A few days ago, my boyfriend mentioned that he wanted to try a few products to help heal the scarring on his face which was caused by terrible acne in his teen years, so I thought I'd put together a little skin care package for him which products he can use. Problem is, I've never dealt with scarring before and I'm not really sure what products would be suitable. I want to buy products that are going to be easy for him to use (i.e. not a facemask because I know he won't sit around with it on 2/3 times a week) so things like a face wash, maybe a moisturiser. What would you guys recommend? :)
