[Routine Help] Azelaic Acid and Tretinoin at the same time?

I've spent a few weeks trying to get a routine together. Right now, this is what I've come up with:

AM: Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser, Rose Water Toner, Moisturizer, Sunscreen,

PM: Neutrogena Cleanser, Rose Water Toner, Moisturizer, Wait 20 Minutes, Retin-A .025% every other night

I have TONS of CC's all over my face and I heard azelaic acid helps. I ordered the azelaic acid from TO. Can I use it on my retin-a off days? I'm tired of my face looking like sand-paper under makeup.

Any other suggestions for a routine to help CC's would be great. My skin is very oily but it dries out with most products.
