Stupid Questions From a New Fan
I know you get a lot of these posts, so I'll try to keep it simple. I watched a few of the Stanley Cup Finals games on an absolute whim, my first hockey games ever, and found it pretty damn exciting. I would really like to start watching hockey for kind of a stupid reason: this summer I have been busting my ass to get in shape, built a home gym in my garage, and as a huge baseball fan I find it amazingly cathartic to lift and watch baseball. But, obviously winter is a thing, so I need something else to pass the time that isn't the NBA or NFL.
So two questions really. I am an eastern time zoner and a huge night owl, I like to lift around 10 most days, do most west coast teams generally play that late? Is there usually at least one game on around 9-10 EST nightly? I am going to subscribe to NHL Game Center Live for sure, but how essential is NHL Network? Do they show a lot of games? Pretty huge fan of MLB Network, anyone familiar with that know if the quality is about on par? It's not included in my current package, but I wouldn't mind adding it if it's worth it.
Really appreciate the help, and as an Ohio guy, I guess it's Go Blue Jackets now! And probably go Golden Knights too because hey, what the hell, why not get in on the ground floor.
