Highish system process cpu usage xps 15 9560

Hey, I recently got an xps 15 and am having what I think is an issue where the system process jumps to 15-20% cpu usage every half a second or something which I think is hurting battery life. I assume some pre installed driver or bloatware is causing this. Has anyone else encountered this issue or knows how to fix it?
