I invaded somebody as Aldritch Faithful, and he killed me, my weapons and my game instantly. Was that a hack?

So as title sais, as i invaded somebody i instantly died without even him even being on my screen, all my weapons broke and my game crashed. I am 99% sure that it was a form of hacking, but i've no idea so i'm posting here. Is there anything i can do to report him? Thanks.
