Watched for far too long. Finally getting in.

Dear Bitcoin online people,

I heard about Bitcoin a while back, maybe when it was 100 before. I consider myself more into gold and don't really trust computers so took a pass. In the real world people use dollars and probably will continue to do so. But I like to have some insurance. And it would be nice to have Bitcoin work out like gold has in the last decade and then some.

I'm surprised BitCoin is still here. I figured the government would kill it. And everyone would lose their money but it seems like that's not in the cards.

It says here not to make a new thread but call me old fashioned. I like to introduce myself.

By the way, I'm new to this website so please excuse me if I am doing something wrong.

With the niceties out of the way, I have some questions:

#1 I understand BC is scarce like gold and isn't an actual coin like in the pictures. So, how do you all know these are real? Like how can I tell if I really have it.

#2 Assuming the government does declare this illegal, how do you see that working? How do you use it if it's illegal?

I suppose that is enough for now.

BEST,

RD
