[Deck Help] Brago Stax
Hey guys! I'm looking for advice for my [[Brago, King Eternal]] stax deck.
I recently changed from a more control archetype, to a pure stax so I'd love some general advice, as well some advice in regards to my particular meta.
My meta is usually a 4-man game with this:
-
Fast combo [[Sharuum the Hegemon]], and very ocasional [[Scion of the ur-Dragon]]
-
Good Stuff [[Zur the enchanter]] with a couple of combos like [[helm of obedience]] + [[rest in peace]]. No [[doomsday]].
-
[[Tymna the Weaver]]+[[Tana, the bloodsower]] hate everything deck with a bunch of hatebears, or control [[Tasigur, the golden fang]].
When I go to FNM, I can face really anything, but I only go like once or twice a month.
The main problem I'm facing is the amount of artifact hate, specially coming from the [[Tymna the Weaver]]+[[Tana, the bloodsower]], but also from [[Zur the enchanter]]. 10 to 12 cards on those decks are things like [[Kataki, War's Wage]], [[Stony Silence]], [[Rest in Peace]], [[Aura Shards]], [[Energy Flux]], [[Vadalblast]]...
If those cards come early, I might as well scoop, and if I get a hold of the game by staxing, and only one of those cards slips by, I'm back to square one. It feels like they are one card wonders vs me (and the [[Sharuum the Hegemon]] player too, really).
Is there a way around this? Is [[Brago, King Eternal]] just weak against this and I should just surrender and assume I can't win?
On a side note, what is a good deck against a deck based around mana dorks and hatebears?
Thanks!
