Professional Hedgehog Achievement/Trophy MIGHT be bugged

I just beat Titanic Monarch Act 1 without taking any damage whatsoever, the achievement didn't pop for me.

Here are some factors that may have affected this, as well as some things that definitely could NOT have been the cause:

1. I used Super Sonic for most of the level.

2. I got crushed during my first attempt (the space between the spikes and the ceiling was EXPANDING, so I don't know how that makes sense) and I restarted the level without quitting and beginning again from the menu.

3. This was achieved on a save file, it was not No Save Mode. As a result, Debug mode was not used.

4. While progressing through the level, I took no damage whatsoever. Not even shield damage.

Personally, I think #2 is what caused the achievement not to pop, but if that were the case then I'd still classify it as a bug. Starting the level from the beginning again should reset the level (minus Giant Rings), so that should have caused the achievement to pop.

EDIT: I just repeated the process, this time quitting the level and starting it again from the menu every time I messed up. It popped this time when I did it.
