This isn't sleep paralysis is it? Something very odd happened to me last night.
So, last night I went to bed all is normal. Around 4 I want to say I recall being startled by the sound of our 3 dogs barking rampantly in our living room of our apartment. I didn't think anything of it since we have upstairs neighbors and thought perhaps people were just coming up and down and sometimes they bark due to that.
I suppose I fell back asleep after this, somehow considering it was pretty annoying and consistent, I was about to get out of bed but I was so exhausted and figured they would stop eventually.
Next thing I immediately wake up around 5 AM this morning. I felt this hand like sensation on my stomach. I immediately slapped it away then I felt it move itself toward my penis (I swear I am not making this up). At this point I freaked out and jumped out of my bed as I felt it grabbing and tightening around it. I immediately reached for it with both my hands and fought it off eventually and slammed it down onto my bed where it continued to fight (for about 5 seconds) and then it eventually faded away and nothing was left between my hands.
What could this have been? I don't think it's sleep paralysis since normally you are paralyzed? Or so I thought... I've never experienced super paranormal activity before that couldn't just be described off as paranoia. But this felt real, and I mentioned it to my roommates who all brought up the dogs barking this morning which I completely forgot about until they mentioned it.
Anybody have any experience with these sorts of things and what I could possibly do to protect myself? I wouldn't be so freaked out or even asking Reddit FFS if it hadn't gone for my baby jewls. I thought they were about to be ripped off by this force to be completely honest and this isn't a risk I'm willing to gamble with by ignoring it.
