Aptitude waiver

I looked into the AFI, and I know you can attempt to get a waiver for minimum aptitude requirements. So my question is how likely is it to get a waiver for a 1 point difference for an AFSC that is on the shortfall list? Also, has anyone gotten this waiver and what was the process like?
