Adopting a 10 month old cat, what tips do you have for me?

I will be adopting her within the week. I went to see her today and she was the only cat in the shelter that was very friendly and cuddly. I immediately fell in love with her. I have never owned a cat before, so I am a bit nervous. I want her to be comfortable in her new home.
