[Crow Business] Welcome to /r/asoiaf! We've got some reminders about the rules and other notes as we approach the end of Season 7

Welcome!

We're glad to have you here manning the Wall. We just have a few reminders for everyone.

#Be Nice

Please follow our Civility Policy while in r/asoiaf. We're here to talk ASOIAF, not to bash on real people (this includes your fellow crows, GRRM, D&D, groups of people, et cetera)

#Leaks

We're in the middle of a huge leak and that's brought lots of new people here to discuss it. In case you've missed it:

##No posting pirated material here

• posting links to the material
• posting links to places where the material is hosted/shared
• "PM me"
• Any other loopholes that you might dream up.

##Spoilers from this episode cannot be discussed anywhere else

Infinite spoilers are only allowed to be discussed in Spoilers Infinite posts. They CANNOT be discussed anywhere else even if you use No Spoilers

##"Leak Hyping"

None of this:

• "can't wait until you all get to see the episode Sunday!"
• "I can't answer that but what I will say is ..."
• Any variation of the sentiment "I've seen it and you haven't"

If you want to discuss the episode, it's quarantined to the Spoilers Infinite posts.

##Spoilers Infinite means spoilers from ALL leaks

This includes previously-leaked info about episode 7.

#Report button

The report button is an anonymous way to report items that break r/asoiaf's rules Help us keep the subreddit on-topic and keep the spoilers under control.

Now that things have leaked, reporting spoilers is more important than ever!

#Spoilers

##Spoilers never go in titles

• Don't go back and confirm/deny speculation on older posts
  • This includes editing your own old posts/comments to include new information from the show
  • The OP of the post you're going back to comment on may not have watched the episode yet. They would have no reason to suspect a spoiler in their inbox.
  • Users that are going back to look at older posts don't expect to have information from beyond the post date included.

Thanks, everyone. It's been great to see all the new faces here as we're all excitedly waiting until Sunday!
