Failure to boot, win10
Hi. My PC worked last night. I boot it up today and it freezes during the Windows loading (the circling dots stop moving). I gave it plenty of time and then tried again, same result. Again, came to the autodiagnosing area. I started in safe mode with networking and here I am.
In my event viewer I see this message:
A service was installed in the system.
Service Name: MBAMSwissArmy Service File Name: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\MBAMSwissArmy.sys Service Type: kernel mode driver Service Start Type: demand start Service Account:
at 2:35. The time right now is 2:49, so this was like...during the failed boot ups. This message is followed by, I dunno, about 100 of these errors:
DCOM got error "1084" attempting to start the service UsoSvc with arguments "Unavailable" in order to run the server:
That looks like a malware bytes something presumably. Also before that MBAM message there's this:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) did not load: dam ESProtectionDriver FileCrypt GpuEnergyDrv npsvctrig WdFilter
No idea if that is normal...
Windows 10, 64bit. Harddrives came up as working correctly according to event viewer, gpu and cpu 4-5 months old. These messges could be totally unrelated of course (or safe mode related?). Any ideas on where to go from here?
Update: I didn't come up with anything googling around so I decided to just give it yet another go. Froze immediately at the dots again (I waited there for 15 minutes). Turned it off. Powered it off in the back. Turned it on and it booted up normally... Is there a reason behind that solving something or did I just get lucky and something coming down the rails to fuck me later?
