SDK Status failed

i just updated to v1.4.1772 and now every time i try to launch my game through gm it asks me to "ensure windows 8 SDK setting are all set to OK" i hit OK then it takes me to the preferences page then on the windows 8 page next to SDK status it says Failed. Unable to locate vcvarsall bat. ensure you have installed visual studio supporting windows 8 app development."

i dont care if my game is compatible with win 8 rn i just want to run my game
