Dry heaves with anxiety?

Does anyone else have Dry heaves with the onset of an anxiety attack? It feels like my throat is closing and next thing I know I start gagging until I'm able to call myself down. I have a huge fear of vomit as well so for me this is extremely inconvenient. I've read some places anxiety can cause dry heaves but just wondering how common it is.
