Leaderboard Events and Legitimacy

Really sorry hate to be negative but heads up, it’s going to be a bit of a rant/ramble. There’s 2 hours left of the event and no one has responded to me and I’m crying mad as hell. I wouldn’t be if it weren’t so close to the end, but they usually take a few days to respond so thus, the panic. Mostly the panic is from not knowing if they can even fix it if the event ends? Idek.

Alright so I had a good time this event! The characters were cool, CD interactions were adorable, levelling was good and it wasn't too stressful overall. But I've been simmering in anger and slightly frantic since with less than 2 days on the clock they banned me from the leaderboard. This doesn't leave much time for them to you know, double check and reinstate me. I'm angry, offended and confused.

I've contacted support in game and through their emails but no response yet. I remain forever hopeful. Because there will probably be legit tears if they don't fix this. I seriously wish this happened week 1 if it had to so I would know not to fucking bother. This is real money and 3 weeks of effort here! Wake up in the middle of the night and alarms effort!

For the record I’ve been around since the beach event and every single shard I have is either from me paying for it, 3 months of ad shards, a couple of ad offers, force touching on my iPhone and shard generators like the Thor Infinity Statue. But mostly from me paying for it. I haven’t cheated and frankly I don’t know how. Why would I, when I’ve put in what feels like an obscene amount of money already? Am I missing something?

I usually only buy the premium character of each event and that's about it, I rarely touch generators and I sometimes skip over pricier premiums (eg. Lucky, forever regret). Last time there was a leaderboard event I didn't get that far in terms of prizes and didn't have a real shot at it since I didn't have that many shards saved up and wasn't as lax with spending them. This time I had more than enough to let loose a little since I went completely F2P with the Homecoming event as well.

So I did. I bought Ironheart, my first Cap crate costume, the Arctic Stark tower when it was on sale plus some miscellaneous sharding. I've never ever spent that much firstly, in any event, and secondly on any game period. This was all to have a good go at the leaderboards. Legit I have no knowledge about Ironheart and tbh the design of Ravager Cap was cooler, but fine, all to see how far it would get me right? I wanted a real shot at the boards. Those shards would of lasted me probably 5 events! That’s half a year! There wasn’t even an event building or cage for this event to remember it by! (If I can’t get the prizes… or CD’s Elk.)

Basically Tinyco needs to figure out their shit when it comes to leaderboard events. Last time they were around to reassure people and all that, apparently people got reinstated within 24 hours. But hell. I’m angry af. Why do this a day before the event ends?! Fuck me over the first week so I don’t waste my time and money. I'm going F2P for these events from now on, lesson learnt. I was happy with this event! And honestly part of me is still enjoying it, the part that is hoping they get back to me in the next few hours and fix my broken wallet heart.

Anyone else have this problem at this point in the event or is it just me? Were you reinstated? Should I just stfu and continue to be patient? Should I go the fuck to sleep? Help.
