Creators update might have done something to my harddrive, what can I do?

Open | Hardware

Hello,

Sunday night I was forced to launch the patch before going to bed. Thuesday I turn on my computer, the patch finishes (it took 3 reboots for that), and my PC is in an unusable state.

Basically it freezes to death every minutes. When I am lucky, I can log, start a small task (tried a few cmd commands for example chkdsk, checked harward specs, etc) before it freezes, but its rare and short. Sometimes it freezes on the log screen. Even worse, [recovery menus] (https://www.tenforums.com/attachments/tutorials/60619d1453744468-boot-advanced-startup-options-windows-10-a-3-startup_options.jpg) also freezes to death. So I am unable to reset windows from these menu, nor rollback to the last update, safe mode, nothing.

I tried to install windows 10 .iso from usb to try a soft reset but it doesnt work. Even worse, hard reset doesn't works too because it is not able to find any drive.

I also tried to install a temporary ubuntu version, to see if I could have an access to my discs, but no way, it is not detected by any tools I've tried (ddrescue, lsbl). Even ubuntu won't install because it can't see any partitions.

On Windows I tried chkdsk, it said "bitmap volume is incorrect" or "bitmap attributes of masters file tables MFT is incorrect". Something when rebooting I have "no boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed".

I don't really mind to buy another harddrive since I had to buy an ssd anyway, but I'd like to get my data back. I suppose I could just transfer a few files before it freezes but hell rebooting everytime is painful.

Any idea what I can do to actually understand what is going on? Why can I access my disks on windows but nowhere else?
