[EVENT] Mobilization of Iberian Armed forces to Squash the Basque Rebellion

With the announcement of the Insurrectionist attempt in the Basque Country, the generals of the Iberian Armed Forces moved into action quickly. First an attempt was made to establish communications with any soldiers loyal to the Iberian Republic and any sections of the Guardia Civil who were still active; these sections were instructed to sabotage any vehicles and escape to meet with forces approaching the region from the militarized presence at the French/Spanish border.

Half of the garrison of said border were to be mobilized to approach the Basque region to hold the line of the county until they were met by reinforcements coming from the south. Once reinforced up to a force of around 10,000 infantry with armored personnel carriers the force would begin to move forwards into Basque territory.

Iberian Special Forces will be mobilized to be dropped under cover of darkness to establish sniper positions one day ahead of all troop advancement, Iberia hopes her snipers can demonstrate the expertise they earned at Port Said.

Before engagement at each position the Iberian forces will attempt to radio communicate with the rebels in each section giving them a chance to surrender, it will use this radio signal to try and locate the Basque leadership in each zone for the snipers to take out if they do not comply.

If the leadership is shown by these signals to be based in a single building or complex, mortars will be used to attempt to remove the threat.
