Both Google chrome and Brave web browsers are freezing.

I use Brave and Google Chrome as may main web browsers and just today they both have been having trouble. They both have been very slow and freezing up. The strange thing however is that Microsoft Edge has been working fine. I tried deleting cookies, clearing caches etc. Is there another thing I can do?
