Christian marrying an unbeliever

Hello, I apologize for the length of this, however I wanted advice for my future from Christians.

I know this topic likely comes up from time to time. I myself am an unbeliever, however I do respect people’s beliefs and never talk down on those beliefs no matter what they are. I am going to propose to my girlfriend within the next few months, I love her with all my heart, and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. I strongly believe in marriage and holding to the vows you make to each other on that day.

She and I have very similar relationship backgrounds where we both struggled mightily meeting the right person, and even battled severe depression over it. I believe at this time she might have even questioned her faith. Personally I hated myself until I met her, and she was on anti-depression medication. We are both in our mid-30s and our lives are both 100 times better now since we met. She makes me want to be the best person I can be, and every single person in her family commends me of how much better she is as a person with me in her life. Now she glows with confidence and everyone I introduce her, loves her. I am a very lucky man to have her in my life.

I do know what the bible says about being unequally yoked. However there is no doubt we will be getting married. So I wanted to get advice on how I can respect her faith while having a future together. We will have a Christian wedding. I’ve already told her is that I will be happy if she wants to raise our children as Christians. I will attend Church at her request as respect to her faith, however not regularly. Also, I will always do my best to educate myself in her faith so that I can understand where she is coming from.

Any advice is appreciated, also I would love to hear from people in the same situation.
