Do you think it's typical to be good at other shooters while being bad at this one?

In my case, I'm talking MGSV, & Far Cry 2/3, and Planetside 2. I've also picked up a couple tricks from other games, since there are translatable skills. For example, prioritizing targets is something you can learn in any game.

Or do you think the above games are too easy?
