Leasing/legal questions on a rental

Hello fellow Arizonians, had some issues with a house I'm renting come up. I just moved into this townhouse about 2 months ago and everything has been going pretty well until today. I got a call from the company that leases my house for the owners and they informed that the owners will now have to sell the house I'm living in for personal reasons. The person from the leasing company stated that while they are going to have to sell the house, my lease will not be affected. I will just have to allow the leasing company to take some pictures of the home and then once they sell it, I will pay out the length of my lease to the new owners. I have never heard of this and was kind of sketched out by it, so was wondering if anybody knew anything on this subject?
