The attack was over, finished. The hostile Marines and their allies had fled the system, and the process of casualty counts, damage figures, and trying to restore whatever amount of order that was possible was underway.

High above Sullent, positioned directly over the massive crater that now scarred the Hive World, Aurelia's ship remained in a geosynchronous orbit. The system had been smashed in a colossal assault, and everyone was reeling from it. None more so than Sullent itself. Despite the damage being minimal compared to Xerxes, the planet hadn't suffered an attack like this ever in its history, and the nobility were a panicked mess.
