Question for UK Radio Station Engineers

Are there any standard protocols to stream a live event to a radio station? I'm a video webcast steam engineer and I've been asked to live stream a music event to Facebook (video) and to stream (audio) to a radio station. I've done plenty of video streaming but never audio to a radio station. My client is being a bit cagey so I don't know which station or how big it is. I use wirecast 7 for my video events. Any help would be appreciated.
