What are some options for freelance translation work for a multilingual person (USA)?

I am not asking for myself, but for a friend.

He is having a lot of trouble finding steady work due to persistent health issues. He unfortunately has not completed his bachelor's, however he has one very strong skill: he speaks four languages fluently (English, Spanish, French, Italian) plus a couple more at low-level fluency (ASL, Catalan, and I think Korean and Japanese).

I'm trying to find some options for him. Obviously there's posting on Craigslist, local subreddit, language subreddits/forums, etc, but are there any other options anyone knows of that I could recommend to him to make use of his language skills?
