Anyone have personal experience with TSA Cares while on a pump?

i'm going to be flying to disney world for 2 days in october, and the last time i went i was on pens but now i'm on a pump and cgm. last time at the airport i just told the people at the scanners that i had needles and insulin in my bag and it was all fine and dandy. now that i'm on the pump and cgm i know i can't go through the giant scanner and i don't want to make a scene at the airport. i've heard of tsa cares before but no one's ever gone in depth about it so i'm a little lost. do any of your have personal experience with it? when should i call the airport? is there paperwork i have to fill out? also have any of your gotten the disability pass to board the plane early? and could my brother board at the same time as me if it's just the 2 of us? thanks!
