Humane dog breeders in the area?

Hi. We're new to the area. We are looking to get a dog, and due to tons of allergies, need to either get a "doodle" or other type of hypoallergenic breed. Most of what we've found online don't seem to be more than puppy factories. Any advice/pointers would be awesome!
