Upgrading my ssd to nvme and need advice

Hi guys upgrading my storage drive that i have which is a corsair neutron series ssd. I Have been looking at the samsung 960 pro 512gb and the corsair nx500. Im not really sure which one is better, i heard all the m.2 can have thermal throttle becoause of the lack of cooling but the corsair one does not have this issue due to the heat sinks. The samsung is on sale for $250 bucks and the corsair is $320. Thanks for your help!
