Thinking about getting twilight struggle for my Dad...

He was military during the Cold War. He's been wanting to get into two player board games for awhile, and the theme is perfect.

He's a sharp guy, but how accessible is this for someone relatively new to more complex board games? Would this be a good Pickup? He's in another state so I wouldn't be able to teach him.
