Because of boogie2988's surgery, I decided to take my health seriously.

I wanted to post this as a private message to Boogie. But I'm not sure if he reads them, so I decide the rewrite it here.

I have seen my own weight slowly clime over the years, this year it reached 255 pounds (116 kg). But when I heard about boogie2988's surgery, I decided it was finally time to do something about it. I have made attempts in the past, which I haven't stuck with for very long, to make sure that this time would be different, I sold my moped, and with the money I got from it, bought a brand new bicycle. For two weeks I have been taking it from and to work, which is about 12 miles (19 km) round trip. It was difficult at first, since I was so out of shape. But I have noticed that I gotten faster, and that I take the uphills much better than before, and since bicycling isn't enough, I also stopped with candy and soda.

Thank you so much boogie2988, for getting me to take my weight seriously.

21/08: I have lost 3.9 pounds (1.8 kg), sadly the weather was quite bad so I couldn't take my bike to work everyday. Hopefully it's better this week.

28/08: After what people said here, and talking to some friends, I have recently cut down on how much I eat. Before I ate enough for two people, now I'm only eating half that. Also, I have once again gone down 3.9 pounds (1.8 kg).
