What can I use for printable, removable wallcovering? (x-post from Interior Design)
I have a client who has posed quite an interesting challenge. While I have ample time to research this, I thought I'd ask the ID community en masse for guidance. She works for a firm that has been seeing increasing interest in wall covering for some time. That's kinda where I come in; I have a large commercial latex printer that can handle most thin textiles and virtually any wall film or self-adhesive canvas or vinyl as long as it's 19.7 thousandths of an inch (0.5mm) or thinner. What are her choices of material, if she wants to create wall coverings with my custom designs printed to them, that have the following properties:
*Repositionable
*Removable without damaging paint or walls
*Kid and pet-resistant
*Doesn't just look like a sticker
We want to do almost exactly what www.chasingpaper.com is doing, only with custom printed graphics, patterns, motifs etc. Any help or just a general direction of where to look would be hugely appreciated.
