Petition to ask CrimFants to step down as mod

The user stifles discussion that does not fit his idea of appropriate or "scientific". His attitude is negative to an extreme, and he does not deal well with rightfully levied criticism regarding the above facts.

This user does an extreme disservice to citizen science and the public interest in scientific pursuits by disparaging users who have posted in good faith. The user holds no known astrophysical credentials, yet stifles discussion of others unless they provide such credentials.

This user should not be a moderator of this sub, especially given the 'inflammatory' nature of the topic and subsequent theories as to the cause due to the above mentioned facts and his bias.

Alternatively I suggest another sub may need to be created and users migrate towards that sub if the user in question refuses this community request for his resignation. This sub has become toxic insofar as the perception of 'outsiders' and laymen.
