How can I learn all the terminology and strategies?

I have played Aoe2 since it first came out and I never dived into the online community, mostly because it is intimidating and I don't know what people are saying. I was a kid when it came out and wasn't allowed to use the internet, by the time I was using the internet I felt too noobish to play.

Are there any guides, blogs, posts, that explains basics strategies and terminology?
