Lost in Code :: Intending to create flag flair w/ labels, lost. Working for /r/TrueRedPillMe.
I want to create a 'system' whereby people can select from various flags (with labels, note: not on the flair itself, but to the side if at all possible. So people know OH this is XYZ and not ABC) on my sub (/r/TrueRedPillMe).
I'd like to make my sub a little more presentable, I believe that if people can show their country of origin, it would explain why some people are for or against a certain thing (cultural differences) and such.
Last night I went to town trying to figure out on my own how to add flag flairs to my subreddit, I got a flag flair going (just for me though). I'm not sure HOW I did it or why this one flag in particular was picked.. but I want to recreate it, but for other flags. Where I can allow people to assign their own. I want a massive list of 30+ flags, I want there to be labels near these flags (not ON the flair itself) so people can tell what country is what.
My code is a bit of a mess, kind of wacky but the point is: when I go into edit flair, I have no idea what I should put for the class. I have no idea how to actually add a flag flair. I was tinkering around with the code, hit preview and now I'm here.
It doesn't help that I'm not entirely sure how it all works, just that it works.
I'm requesting someone who knows what the hell they're doing in regards to CSS, because I sure as hell don't. I did not major in computer science, this isn't exactly a strong suit of mine so;
Any help is much MUCH appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
