Featured v Basic 5* crystals, and dates, in the world of 6* shards?

I feel the community opinion was to wait till November or December for basic 5* given the quality of champs added then, unless there were specific 5* featured you wanted.

Does 6* change this?

It takes 37 5* dupes to get enough shards for a 6*. If opening features, it would take the same number of duped but at 1.5x the cost, or ~56 basic opens.

However, features have 20-30% chance at success... and subfeature pool is eventually small...so more likely to be a dupe after first?

What are your thoughts of featured or basic 5* once 6* shards are in the game?
