There needs to be a perseverance reward
Quitting is obviously an issue that a lot of people think should be punished (lowering the player count more seems like a good idea to these people)
The problem is that if I stay and lose, I get less than half the marits I would get for quitting and winning the next. It's a wash on rewards vs time.
I suggest for starters, a late entry marit: if you join late, you get a marit win or lose. If you lose, and start late, you get a second.
If you lose by some significant margin, you get a marit.
Ie GET SOMETHING for sticking around outside of your normal 1-3 marits.
Loser should be rewarded? Ideally no, but this is a very low player count game, both in gamemode and total players. And when they quit and find a more balanced game it creates a bad situation.
Also, if I got a soft ban, I would quit playing all together. If I lost my marits for quitting, I would quit at the first sign the tide was turning to avoid wasting any additional time.
FWIW, I'm a g18, with 2340 games and 65% win ratio.
