Cashing Out Idea
I know everyone on here says hold hold hold. But I think it's a good idea to cashout a little bit each month. Here's what I suggest: I suggest you divide the amount of coins you have by 360 and cash out this amount every month.
For instance, if some baller on here has 500 bitcoins (current btc networth of $2.1 million) , I think it'd be reasonable to cashout 500/360= 1.38 btc every month which would be a current value of $5796. Next month, if BTC is only worth $3,000, then you'll cashout $4160. You get the idea.
Why 360? Because there's 360 months in 30 years. I think 30 years would be an ample amount of time for BTC to either sink or hit 500k per coin like some predict.
If you're in it for the "HODL" then you absolutely have to position yourself to still have coins 30 years from now.
IF, by the 30th year, BTC is worth $500,000 per coin, you'd be cashing out $690,000 per month or $8.2 million for the 30th year alone which is 4 times your current value of BTC.
Sure 2.1 million might seem like a lot to you right now, but in my opinion if you're a believer you shouldn't cashout more than 1.38 btc per month in this example to really maximize your value.
Hell, if you think you should stretch it to 50 years, then cashout current coins/600 months.
Just an idea, GL!
