How can I enjoy Barcelona and be sensitive after this tragedy

Hello from Texas, I am currently about to board on a flight to Barcelona at the most unfortunate timing, with no chance to cancel or postpone, (I got news of the attack while still in the airport) and I was just wondering where I could go and be a regular tourist after such a terrible event in the city, I don't mean to be selfish but I'm afraid the atmosphere will not be what I initially expected, and of course I was looking to go to La Ramblas, so any advice would be very appreciated, thank you!
