Induction tonight...anxiety tips?

My induction is scheduled to begin tonight, beginning with cervical ripening via cervadil or some similar medication. I'm terrified, not so much of the process though that is a part of it, but mainly of becoming a mother.

Any tips of adjusting to new motherhood or stories relating to induction both good and bad? It will give me something to read tonight while I'm patiently waiting for the pitocin to be started.
