How big of a problem is bike theft on campus?

I'll be bringing my bike when I move in, and I was wondering how often do people steal bikes / bike parts. I have a lock that will chain both wheels and the frame together. All that I'm worried about it my seat getting stolen. Anyone have suggestion / insight?
