Noob question about Fortune Cards

I just started the game yesterday and got 2 similar fortune cards requiring me to kill or assist in killing an enemy 3 or more times (the other one just requires me to use Tripp).

1. Are these quests doable on bot matches?
2. If they are, I've played 2 matches as Tripp in bots and had 16 kills without dying, so why doesn't it count towards the quest completion? It still says 0/3 after 2 bot matches as Tripp

Can't seem to find any google results that explain the mechanics thoroughly so I resorted to posting here.
