Companion Book Suggestions?

Any good suggestions for companion books to:

Hamlet
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead
Beloved
Frankenstein

I'm teaching a unit on all of these and I want to encourage independent reading that is also relevant to what we are seeing in class.

Thanks!
