Pebble Time vs. Moto360 Metal Band

So I've bought and tried the Moto360 metal band on my Pebble Time.

Simply it doesn't work. The Moto360 metal band is 23mm wide but has an adapter at the end that connects to the Moto360 body. While I could use it, it exposes all the ugly connecting bits. This is what it looks like.

It's a very nice band with quality parts and it's too bad it won't fit. Perhaps there are adapters to make it fit but I'm not sure if the trouble is worth it.
